RADAR detects vacant spaces
More and more creative people need the urban spaces for their work. Many buildings are currently standing vacant. The cities interim use agency RADAR seeks to broker between owners and interested creative parties. RADAR is part of the cities program called „Frankfurter Programm zur Förderung des Umbaus leerstehender Räume für Kreative“, where the city’s Department of Culture, the Center of Creative Industries of the Frankfurt Economic Development, and the Department of City Planning interdisciplinary work together. The Department of City Planning is leading the project.
RADAR is working as real estate agent for the city since 2011. The service is free of charge for both, property owners and creative tenants.
