Stefan Hauser studied visual communication at the HfG Offenbach from 1992 to 1998. Together with Laurent Lacour, he founded the international, independent design agency hauser lacour, which focuses on interactive design, corporate design, brand space and brand strategy. For more than 15 years, the agency has stood for the highest design quality. The design magazine Page has ranked hauser lacour among the 10 most successful design agencies in Germany in 2017. Between 2004 and 2009 Stefan Hauser held teaching posts and guest professorships in typography at the universities of Basel, Mainz and Wiesbaden. With hauser lacour he has set himself the goal of shaping commercial and cultural brands innovatively. Strategic corporate thinking, social and technological change, and creative work should influence both the process and the result in equal measure. Stefan Hauser is a member of the Art Directors Club (ADC) and the German Designer Club (DDC).
Frankfurt is for me …
… the best of two worlds.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with great people – and top results.
Where do you get your ideas from?
I ask myself regularly. But I have got used to the fact that the answer is missing.
My lunch break …
… I just spent it again with Brenmans at Kettenhofweg.
What trends do you think we will see this year?
The trend towards structured breaks. If you regularly sit in endless meetings, you know what I mean.
What else can we still learn?
To live and to understand others.
You should definitely do that in Frankfurt …
Whatever you feel like – for example, visit the skate park at the EZB.
