Olivia Dahlem started her education as a publishing bookseller before beginning her studies in communication design in Mainz. After working for renowned advertising and design agencies such as Wirz&Hafner and Karnath&Partner, she decided in 2008 to dedicate herself to her passion ‘fashion’ and founded COCO LORES.

Together with fashion designer Claudia Frick, they have been creating fashion that attracts: Style-conscious, feminine collections for business and successful public appearances for women. ‘She wears Frankfurt’ – her slogan of faith: The pieces are made in the B2B tailor workshop ‘Stitch by Stitch’ in Frankfurt, working with professional tailors who have fled their homeland.

From the neon-pink edged seam to the classic pinstripe with colourful interior – with a lot of love for detail, the collections, which can be found in their shop in Frankfurt’s Nordend. Meeting and consultation by appointment!

For me Frankfurt is

Energy, inspiration, diversity, tradition, modernity, cosmopolitanism, warmth, contrast, home.

What do you love most about your job?

Making women happy.

Where do you get your ideas from?

There is a very nice quote from Coco Chanel, which inspires me again and again: “Fashion is not something that exists only in clothing. Fashion is in the air, on the street. Fashion has something to do with ideas, with the way we live, with what happens.”

My lunch break …

Break… Exchange in our studio community, where we have lunch together – on Mondays there is always one person cooking for all 10, a different kind of challenge ;-)

What trends do you think we will see this year?

Change: longevity combined with style.

What else can we still learn?

Openness and transparency.

You should definitely do that in Frankfurt …

On a tour through Frankfurt’s districts… there are many gems to discover.
